Reviewed by Melanie Burd, 13, Titusville, NJ

Going Solo is a great book describing Roald Dahl's later life when he was about 20 years old. Going Solo is ending the story begun in Roald Dahl's Boy, which told about his early life in grade schools.

Going Solo tells about many adventures Roald Dahl faced in places like Africa, Greece, and in Egypt. He becomes a fighter pilot and shoots down many planes and has to really fight for his life. The excitement keeps almost anyone reading.
