Pocket Books, Copyright: 1934
This mystery book is supposed to be a classic, one of Christie's best. I do not think so. It was a mediocre book with an interesting ending but it was far from superb. I would recommend this book to others just for the sake that they can say that they have read a well known Agatha Christie book. This book is about three detectives trying to solve a murder that occurred on the Orient Express. The entire book is about the three detectives interviewing all of the passengers on the train. One of the good things about the book was that is did not let you know who the killer was till the end. One of the more interesting parts of the book was that it had little blurbs of French throughout it. It made it more interesting. If you have read a lot of good mystery books, I would not suggest you read this one. I did gain a couple of things from this book. Some French words and a couple different ways to solve a murder. I was quite surprised when I looked up the copyright and I found out that it was written in 1934. I thought that it was written much later.
