Dell Publishing Copyright 1972 Deathwatch is a suspense-filled book by Robb White, set in the desert around Edwards Air Force Base. Ben, a resident of a small town on the edge of the desert, agrees to accompany Madec on a bighorn hunt. Madec is not the kind of man Ben would choose to spend his time with, but Madec said he would pay Ben to help him find bighorn on his hunt. Since Ben needs the money for college he agrees to accompany him on the hunt. When trigger-happy Madec shoots a man by accident, Ben enters a race for his life and transforms from the hunter into the hunted. White keeps the reader's attention as Ben is put in situation after situation, and that is why I think that this is a great, action - packed story. White brings the characters to life and makes you a part of the story. Deathwatch is a must for people who like action in their story. So if you are looking for a good book, go to your local library and check out Deathwatch by Robb White.
