This is a great book to read if you like books about mixed feelings. Also, if you have moved a lot, this is a great book for you. This book is about a boy named Asa, who is tremendously smart. Some people might call him a nerd, but he's not; he's just an ordinary boy with his family problems. His mom and dad are divorced and he's moved 10 times to all different towns and schools, and he's only eleven. Asa is always trying to get his mom and dad back together, but it doesn't work. Now that Asa's mom is dating another guy, Asa is getting along with him very well. He still wants his dad back though, and thinks about him a lot. Asa is always wondering if he will ever find a woman in this mixed up world that he lives in. Will he? You'll find out if you read What Hearts. I would recommend this book to others because it makes you wonder about your life in general and what it would be like if you had these problems. If your life is like any of this, you would be able to relate to this book well. It's a good book to read.
