Published 1980 Putman Publishing Group Football Dreams is a good book, but you have to stick with it or you will miss something. This book is about a kid who is moving from a public school to a prep high school. He starts out as an okay football player and becomes a great football player, but he feels he went out for more than he bargained for. He is good in football and school but he is still not happy with himself because he feels he needs more than what he has got. This is a very good book for readers who don't need a lot of violence, action or suspense, but enjoy reading about other people's lives and problems.
