alliteration, personification,
are poets trying to confuse the nation?
irony, conflict, climax,
writing poems is like eating wax.
character, metaphor,
reading poems is even a larger bore.
narrative, lyric and sonnets,
people who write these walk around wearing pretty pink bonnets.
foreshadowing, setting, edding,
what messages are poets sending?
mood, simile, satire,
every poet is a liar.
writing endings ain't no ball
so I'm not writing one at all!
