Angel's Cry

Have you ever wondered what rain was?
Some say rain is a punishment drowning the crying
souls;
Some say rain is a new life
washing away the sins;
I say rain is an Angel's cry
for someone to come love her.
Will you love her?

Time

One day I woke up and found Time
in my face.
He slapped me and told me this is reality
The unhindered Time pushed me out
through the door and told me not to wait;
I told him to stop
but who could stop Time when it starts?
He stretched his hands
just to the point
where I could scream,
but nothing came out
and no one heard my cry. How can you stop Time
when his only job is to frighten people,
when his only friend is death,
when his enemies are
us?

Trapped

Ever since school has started, I hear my voice crying out to be heard,
But nobody hears me.
I'm too afraid to go on my own,
Afraid of rejection, afraid of acceptance,
Afraid of what other people will think.
I turn to look in each direction
but everything looks the same
ahhhhhhhh!!
I yearn for freedom in this country,
and in my soul just to let it go and fly over everyone;
More and more I believe in the saying,
"Don't judge a book by its cover."
Help me go through life
having an experience of
being out of the cage.
I feel I am empty inside,
no hope
no feeling
nothing but numbness.
I'm contained in a small box,
in a closet locked shut.
You can't breathe the fresh air that everyone else pretends to breathe,
To breathe in God.
Yes, the scenery is beautiful
but it is not always free.
Satan will always come in hideous forms,
and you will always be able to recognize him.
Only those who are looking will know him when they see him.
I have found myself being lured
into his tricks
and when he thinks he has me
God catches my arm and brings me into safety.
The little girl who is…
afraid of rejection,
afraid of acceptance,
afraid to go out on her own.
I am trapped.
