And as the long night unfolds
There are so many lives lived tonight
No wiseman could ever have told
From the long left alone lesson of love
To the last sigh I give in these resting bones
Who could have known
From all the fear that was felt
Would lead to a heavenly wonderful fall
Still the tale of my now seeing future has brightened
Who knows what tomorrow will bring
But don't let its' foot
Kick you in the face on its' unpredictable quest
Thus even through it all I realize the danger
Was clear when the best was over
Which brings a scare of a repeated loop in time
If anyone else in me
Has a solution
Please step up tonight
