me

There was a girl named Sarah Jean,
Who thought the world was cruel and mean.

She did things she was not to do.
She needed someone to turn to.

In 6th grade, she got real depressed.
The grades she got were not her best.

She stopped eating, which was not good.
She needed help, but now who could?

She spent her days lonely and sad.
To herself and family, she was just plain mad!

She soon found out she was anorexic,
a disease that makes you very sick.

"Can anyone understand?" she questioned.
"Or am I dying because it's destined?"

Her friends all strugged to help her through it,
but try as they might, they could not do it.

Because Sarah Jean, one warm spring day,
killed herself, and all we can say
is: "Why'd she have to end this way?"
