I Am

I am a jaguar, on the prowl for unkindness.

I am a rabbit, as swift and as fast in the mind as the hare is on foot.

I am the earth, watching over all of my animal children.

I am the dirt after a heavy rain, healthy, and strong.

I am a kitten, playing with a ball of wool.

I am a puppy gnawing on a rawhide shoe, that my master has so kindly given me.

I am the water, as pure as water gets.

I am the way I am, at times, rough and silly, at other times, kind and understanding.

I am me.
