- Offshore over rocky ledges in very deep water; most common in south
Florida.
- Size usually less than 5 lbs.

- Suspends at mid-depths over rocky reefs Offshore.

- Yellowtail Snapper

- Juveniles Inshore on grassbeds and back reefs; adults Nearshore or Offshore
over sandy areas near reefs.
- Size common to 3 lbs.
