- Size 6-8 ft (200-300 lbs)
- Atlantic Sharpnose Shark

- Family Carcharhinidae, Requiem Sharks
- Inshore species, sometimes found in surf, common in estuaries and bays;
adults offshore
- Size 2-4 ft
- Sandbar Shark

- Nearshore fish typically found at depths ranging from 60-200 ft.
- Size common to 6 ft.
- Bonnethead Shark

- Family Carcharhinidae, Requiem Sharks
- Inshore species found in bays and estuaries.
- Size commonly 3-4 ft.
- Scalloped Hammerhead

- Family Carcharhinidae, Requiem Sharks
- Both Offshore and Inshore.
- Size common to 6 ft., can reach 14 ft.
- Ladyfish

- Family Elopidae, Tarpons
- Inshore fish, in bays and estuaries; occasionally enters freshwater,
occurring in tidal pools and canals; often forms large schools and harasses
bait at the surface.
- Size 2-3 lbs.
- Tarpon

- Family Elopidae, Tarpons
- Primarily Inshore fish, although adult fish spawn Offshore where the
ribbon-like larval stage of the fish can be found.
- Size most angler catches 40-50 lbs.
