Shortfin Mako: Family Lamidae, Mackerel Sharks; Offshore fish, commonly seen near the surface; Size 6-8 ft (200-300 lbs)
Atlantic Sharpnose Shark: Family Carcharhinidae, Requiem Sharks; Inshore species, sometimes found in surf, common in estuaries and bays; adults offshore; Size 2-4 ft
Sandbar Shark: Family Carcharhinidae, Requiem Sharks; Nearshore fish typically found at depths ranging from 60-200 ft.; Size common to 6 ft.
Bonnethead Shark: Family Carcharhinidae, Requiem Sharks; Inshore species found in bays and estuaries.; Size commonly 3-4 ft.
Scalloped Hammerhead: Family Carcharhinidae, Requiem Sharks; Both Offshore and Inshore.; Size common to 6 ft., can reach 14 ft.
