DAY #3: APRIL 24
First time in the history of the tournament - NO SHAD WERE WEIGHED IN ALL DAY!
The River was up at least 6' from last night when we closed - large objects
were coming down all day - water was stained badly - reports from Delaware Water
Gap was that it rained so hard up there the river looked like chocolate milk.

DAY #4: APRIL 25
The river temperature today was 52 degrees - ideal for the American Shad to
move on it's journey upstream to spawn ~ but the "Willy Wonka Chocolate"
waters made it very difficult to fish - also there was a huge amount of debris
still coming down from up North from the rains we had Sunday nite thru Monday
- Fishing was almost impossible - we were out today for about 4 hours - 8 boats
around us and no one had any catches for the day, not even a little buck! You
had to pull your lines in every 5 minutes to clean off the garbage! Water levels
rose at least 8-10' from the rains. Perhaps by Thursday the River will be back
down to a minimal roar for safer and more productive fishing.
Only one Shad made the boards today -
